We are going on a Hiking Trip! ⛰ Darryn Solomons invites you for the Boesmanskloof Hike in the Small Karoo! Step out of the hustle and bustle of Cape Town and back in time. The first night we will sleep at a backpackers in McGregor and have a welcoming braai.
On Saturday morning, we will hike 14km down a steep gorge and through a rugged and pristine kloof, surrounded by mountains, have lunch and cool down at a beautiful waterfall and enjoy the indigenous plant and animal life. It’s a hotspot for wild almonds and proteas, small antelope such as klipspringer and duiker and even leopard have been spotted in the area. After the long hike we will arrive in the picturesque country town of Greyton, with its Victorian architecture, free roaming horses and tree lined streets, it is nestled below the Riversonderend mountains will refresh at the village brewery in town, which does a great beer tasting, before wining and dining at a quaint restaurant.
